In celebration of our centennial year in our current facility, the Vestry has decided to renovate Wagner Hall. The key visual element in the remodel will be a new stained glass window facing Second Street designed to the theme of the song "All Things Bright and Beautiful." The window will be a memorial to the late Mrs. Julia
Wagner, wife of Colonel Wagner for whom the building is named, and
the founder of the Humane Society of Warren County. The elements of
the window design incorporate mountains and streams reminiscent of
the Shenandoah Valley and the animal life whose well-being so concerned
Mrs. Wagner. New Music Director Chosen The Search Committee has unanimously chosen Mr. Wilson Troxell to replace Mrs. Helen Smith as Organist and Choir Director upon the retirement of Mrs. Smith on May 1, 1999. On Sunday, May 18, 1999 there will be a special reception
for Helen Smith and Wilson Troxell honoring their special gifts of
love and service by which we have been and will be richly blessed. |
