(3-hour session)This session will examine elements of quality teaching linked to fostering student learning, and how to promote those practices through focused, supervisory approaches that make learning the "centerpiece" of the schoolhouse.
A variety of time efficient, supervisory tools will be presented and explained. Participants also will have the opportunity to examine the relationship between student work/assignments, student engagement and achievement, and how supervisory practices can be used to enhance the quality of work assigned to students.
Every participant will leave the session with a handout of resources they can use immediately.
