Successful Strategies for Navigating the Principalship/Leadership Role
This session will address the difficulty of being both leader and manager. It will explore "tips for success," including how to build or "bust" the organizational culture, including a look at how to work with toxic cultures, how to transform faculty meetings into invitations to learn, and strategies to conduct reflective site visits within one's own organization. Special attention will be given to the topic of enhancing the focus on standards, benchmarks, and achievement within a school. Participants will leave the session with an extensive handout of resources.
