| If you have the energy to look down to your left as you reach the top of the hill, you'll see this fine view of open fields, rolling ridges, and the Blue Ridge about three miles distant. If you bring your binoculars (and I'm not sure why you would, but humor me here), you might spot part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's infamous Mount Weather facility up on top of the Blue Ridge! Also, the location where this photo was taken is where our lone water stop will be if we don't have enough volunteers for two water stops. (<< PREVIOUS | NEXT >>) |
