| This is where Lockes Mill Road suddenly becomes paved-- presumably to allow paved access to Lockes Landing half a mile down the road (see photo #10). There will also be quite a few houses off on your right during the next half mile (you can see some of 'em in this picture). The paved Parshall Road also veers off to the right here, heading uphill. Don't bear right-- go straight! Remember, the 10 miler has three left turns before the turnaround, and the 5K doesn't have any turns. So this is not one of the turns! (<< PREVIOUS | NEXT >>) |
