| Here, in all its glory, is the starting line for both the 10 miler and the 5K! You can see the gravel surface of Lockes Mill Road down at the bottom of the photo, and the start itself is adjacent to the tree. The course heads off to the left (west). The building in the background is The Hot Spot, where Watermelon Park campers can buy bait and rent inner tubes. (It will not be open on race day, as the park is closed for the winter until 1 April.)
