WAIVER: In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against any of the following: race directors Karsten Brown and Terry Leckie; the event's volunteers; Watermelon Park, its owners and employees; Clarke County, Virginia; the Shenandoah Valley Runners; and all additional contributors, sponsors and assigns for any injuries suffered by me in the scheduled March 22nd, 2008 event, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of all or any of the Releasees or otherwise. I realize that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity, and I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have effectively trained to complete this race. I have read the fine print, understand the event's limitations and rules, assume all risks associated with the event, and agree to abide by the decision of any race official relative to my participation. In summary, I will not sue or complain.
