(to be given out around 9:59 AM) The 25th finisher overall will receive $30 and a cheap Oscar-esque trophy! The top three males & females overall, the first male & female Masters finishers (age 40-54), and the first male & female Senior Masters finishers (55 & over) get cheap trophies with odd non-running-related figurines on 'em. The top three male & female finishers in each age group will receive cheesy certificates. The 10 miler age groups are: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over. The second to last finisher overall gets a cheap horse racing trophy! The fastest male & female who would not have received an award otherwise will receive a cheap "I Almost Got Shafted" trophy with a figurine by which we hope they will not be offended.

The fastest male & female who would not have received an award otherwise will receive a cheap "I Almost Got Shafted" trophy with a possibly offensive figurine on it.

This year's cheesy 10 miler age group certificate   TECHNICAL NOTES: The second to last finisher and the 25th place finisher in each race are eligible to receive other trophies or certificates; all other award winners will receive one trophy or certificate only (no duplication). Overall awards take precedence over other awards. Masters and Senior Masters are separate (which means that persons of Senior Masters age will not be given a Masters award, and vice versa). All of the aforementioned take precedence over the age group awards. Thus, if, for instance, you're 43 years old and win the race, you only get the first place overall award; we're not giving you the Masters award (or an age group award) too. Anyone who complains about our awards or how we give 'em out will be publicly ridiculed or something. If there are fewer than 25 finishers in a race, the prize money for 25th overall will be given to the final finisher. If the 25th finisher cannot accept prize money due to amateur status rules, he or she will receive the Oscar-like trophy only. WHAT WILL BE ON THIS YEAR'S TROPHIES?   Our trophies have been ordered, and as usual, none of the trophies will have runner figurines on 'em. What will they have on 'em, you ask? AffordableAwards.com, a.k.a. Goodwill Awards of Woburn, MA. When we say we're giving out "cheap awards" at our race, we really just mean that the trophies are small and inexpensive. The trophies we've gotten from Goodwill Awards have always been of excellent quality, with genuine marble bases (not crummy plastic ones like most trophy stores offer these days) and nicely engraved plates. The prices at Goodwill Awards are also among the lowest around! The entry fees at our race would be a little higher if not for Goodwill Awards. (P.S. We're not connected with the business, nor do they give us a discount for saying the above! It's just that our site sees the occasional visitor who arrives here through a Web search on the terms "cheap trophies" or "cheap awards", and so I thought I'd be helpful and point such visitors toward the business through which we get our cheap trophies.)
