1995-2009

Bill had to be put down on August 31, 2009. He was a good dog. If you're a dog person, you know that is as good as it gets.We miss him.

Our dog Bill is world famous, you're looking at him aren't you! We rescued him from the pound in 1995. With two different colored eyes, we figured he was a goner. There's nothing wrong with the blue eye, he can see fine.

Bill is a favorite subject for the digital camera and Photoshop. Take a look at some of the projects he's been involved with. His greatest contribution may be at the elementary school where Herb is librarian. Bill is a great hit on bookmarks, stickers, and often hides in reference books for scavenger hunts.

Don't leave without throwing him a doughnut hole for his trouble!

This is a dollar Bill. It makes a great bookmark, but don't try buying the groceries with it.

On a recent snow day, I heard something outside my library window. I looked out and Bill was dragging my birdseed container out of the lattice building. I grabbed the camera and filmed him as he caught a mouse! What a dog!
