ITEM: SARAH HILL'S ORDINATION/INSTALLATION
On November 10, starting at 3:30 p.m., the service of ordination and installation for Sarah Hill occurred in the Sanctuary of the Broadway Presbyterian Church with a capacity congregation of church members, elders and clergy of the ordination/installation commission, Sarah's friends and family, officials of Shenandoah Presbytery, and two former pastors and two former interim pastors of the Broadway Presbyterian Church. This historic event in the life of this church was marked with joyous worship and celebration that filled the Sanctuary with marvelous music and heartfelt words.

Item: Elders for Class of 2005 elected on September 22, 2002. At a well-attended meeting, the congregation elected elders who will begin three-year terms in January of 2003:

Item: DON ALLEN'S LAST SUNDAY AS INTERIM PASTOR WAS AUGUST 25.
During an
luncheon and ice cream social after the worship service on August 25, members of the
congregation expressed to Don Allen their gratitude for his amazing
energy, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and talent that have helped the church
prepare for serving our Lord under a new minister. Don moderated the
meeting of the session on August 28 as his last official act.
